    Hi Richard,

    I could not reproduce your error.

    Could you please open the "boards.txt" file and check that you have the "nano.build.board" property set to "AVR_NANO" ? The "boards.txt" file should be located at "C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\arduino\hardware\avr\1.8.3"

    thanks

  • I don't have my boards.txt located in AppData subfolder, but mine is located at

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\boards.txt" with the following content

    nano.build.board=AVR_NANO

  • I could finally reproduce the issue. It has something to do with the fact that the HITIComm library is precompiled. The problem will also occur with Arduino Micro appearing as a Leonardo. I am working on that.
